Amanda is a maternal child LPN and has been working as a baby nurse for the last five years. Prior to her role as a baby nurse, Amanda worked as both a labor and delivery, postpartum and nursery nurse. Most of her time in the nursery was spent caring for preterm babies. Her passion is teaching and assisting new moms during those first few months after birth. Amanda is also the owner of a concierge and baby nurse agency on Nantucket, called ACK Fast Service. This is where you will find her during the summer months. Amanda is available to care for your baby in the fall, winter and spring. Most importantly, Amanda is a mother herself. Susan has known her calling since high school when she was an avid babysitter and she has been caring for children ever since. She took her first full time nanny job in 1990 and in 1999 she started doing overnights caring for newborns. She has supported approximately 200 newborns as a Newborn Care Specialist. Susan’s warm and calm manner is soothing to babies and parents alike which is especially beneficial in the first few months home with a newborn. Andrea has a lifetime passion for children and their development and holds a degree in Child Development. She started out babysitting at 13 and has been taking care of children ever since.
