We select only experienced caregivers who are Infant CPR certified, and who have successfully completed our comprehensive training program, and ensure each is kept up-to-date on the latest sleep safety guidelines, soothing techniques and baby care recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). So that we may cater to each family’s unique needs, we have built our Newborn Care Expert (NCE) team to include Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Lactation Consultants and Postpartum Doulas.

Brenda A., Newborn Care Expert
Few experiences in life match the joy and excitement of bringing a baby into the world! Brenda is honored to provide support to families as they bring their newborn home. She enjoys providing reassurance and knowledge to guide parents in creating a comfortable, loving, and healthy atmosphere for their new family. Brenda is a natural caregiver and understands that it is essential for new moms to get the support and rest needed during the postpartum period so that they can fully recover and transition into their new roles. Brenda is a dedicated mother of two children and a long-time Weston resident. Brenda finds balance in her life by spending quality time with family and friends, spending time in nature, flower arranging, and as a singer/volunteer leader in Weston and in the wider community.
Paige A., Newborn Care Expert
Paige has been a nanny for nine years, caring primarily for newborns and babies younger than three. She considers the developmental progress of the infants she works with to be the top priority, along with safety and happiness. She has experience with premature infants, twins, and multiples. Her gentle, calm demeanor and tireless work ethic make her an ideal specialist for new families and their children. Paige is studying biochemistry with the intention of becoming a pediatrician, and is honored to think that her experience as a newborn care specialist will enhance her abilities as a physician.

Alexandra is a DONA-trained postpartum doula and Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. She came to doula work through nannying, which she did for ten years. In her role as a doula, Alexandra offers truly nonjudgmental support to families adjusting to their new lives with a baby. She is grounded, nurturing and compassionate, providing both practical and emotional support to parents. She focuses on understanding the unique desires and needs of each family, believing that postpartum support establishes a basis for happy, healthy families. Alexandra believes that all families have their own rhythm, and wants parents to feel as supported as possible so they can enjoy the magic of those first three months of their baby’s life. She is passionate about helping parents welcome their baby into their lives and easing their transition into parenthood, and feels honored to do this work and be part of families’ journeys. Alexandra holds a BA in Social and Cultural History from the University of Maryland. She has lived in Capetown, South Africa, Managua, Nicaragua and spent time backpacking around India. In addition to being a doula, Alexandra is also a writer.
Darin B., Newborn Care Expert
Darin enjoys supporting families as the transition home with their newborn. Her calm demeanor and gentle guidance allows her to work with families as they establish routines and schedules while gently guiding parents through all of the first year phases. Darin grew up in Boston but currently lives in Walpole where she and her husband are raising their four teenage children. She is a certified CPR instructor and a part-time driver’s ed teacher. In her spare time, she likes to spend time doing activities with her kids and care for their horses. She also enjoys yoga.
Doreen B., Newborn Care Expert first
Doreen has been caring for infants and children for over 20 years and with five children of her own, she fully understands both the joys and challenges of brining a new baby home. Doreen’s loving nature and vast experience allows families to feel confident in the care their newborn is receiving. She is able to gently lead parents through the newborn phase and provide families with the reassurance they need during the first months home with a newborn. Doreen resides in Cape Cod with her husband and children.

Eileen has worked with infants and children for over 20 years. While raising her own four children she realized her interest and passion for working with moms and infants during the postpartum period. She works in a Boston area Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cuddling premature, sick or withdrawing babies and supporting the nursing staff. She also is trained as Certified Lactation Counselor and Postpartum Doula. Eileen’s special interests include the importance of good nutrition (for both baby and mom) and understanding the unique personality of each infant to help the family transition smoothly during the “fourth trimester”. Susan has known her calling since high school when she was an avid babysitter and she has been caring for children ever since. She took her first full time nanny job in 1990 and in 1999 she started doing overnights caring for newborns. She has supported approximately 200 newborns as a Newborn Care Specialist. Thaty O. is an Early Childhood and Parent Educator who has been working with children for nearly 20 years in a variety of settings with the majority of them, being in private homes, co-raising several incredibly brilliant children while also teaching hundreds of nannies and parents in the Boston area. Thaty specializes in working with first time parents and their newborns, providing positive encouragement and guidance while nurturing and fostering the healthy development of their babies. Thaty has an extensive academic and professional training background and some of them include: CAPPA Postpartum Doula, Advanced Newborn Care Expert, certified Happiest Baby on the Block Educator, Mediator and Mediator Coach for the nation’s first Domestic Worker/Employer Mediation Project, as well as Master Certified Parent and Family Coach.
