Not your typical full-service nanny placement agency, Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny was built on a unique and phenomenal foundation of nearly two decades of infant care and guiding families into their new roles as parents in both hospital and home settings. Founder Carole Arsenault, a long-time registered nurse, lactation consultant and mother of three grown children herself, fundamentally understands what children need in a nanny and what it takes to make a great nanny-family relationship work.
Our comprehensive screening and interview process ensures that every nanny placed provides the highest quality of childcare. Each candidate submits an application with details about their experience level and skill set. Upon meeting our selective criteria, we conduct a personal interview, followed by thorough reference and background checks. All candidates must have up-to-date Infant/Child CPR Certification prior to placement. Once we have determined that a candidate is qualified and possesses the caring and good-natured personality we require of our nannies, we welcome them into our agency and consider them for placement with a family.
We’re dedicated to pairing you with a great nanny, and helping make the transition as smooth as possible. We begin the process by setting up an interview with you to discuss your childcare needs, nanny qualifications, schedule requirements, and to get a sense of your family dynamic. Based on that conversation, our team will create a job description, and recommend the Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny nannies best suited to meet your family’s needs. From there, we will provide you with a nanny placement information packet containing the candidates’ background screening details, a copy of each candidate’s completed application, a guide to nanny salaries, tax and payroll information, and a suggested family/nanny contract template. Our team will provide phone and email support as needed, as you schedule and conduct interviews, and make the decision about which nanny feels right for your family.
Prior to providing your family’s nanny candidates, there will be a one-time, non-refundable application and registration fee of $200. Only when you decide to hire one of the candidates will the remaining placement fee of $1800 be collected.
