What is the difference between a Nanny and an Elite Babysitter?

While both play a role in supervising and caring for children when parents are unavailable, a nanny is a daily fixture in your family. Nannies will provide housework and are very involved in the children’s lives. Elite Sitters are short-term caretakers who are typically hired to watch the children for a shorter period of time on an as-needed basis.

The first 3 months are FREE and the cost of continuing the service is $75/month.

Babysitters are paid by each family independently. On average, sitters earn between $16-20/hour for one child. Slightly higher rates apply for multiple children or when specialized care is required.

Safety is critically important when hiring in-home childcare. For over 13 years, Boston Baby Nurse & Nanny has committed to thoroughly vetting and qualifying all candidates, including our team of Elite Babysitters.

Only the most qualified candidates are selected to care for your children. Our babysitters are 21 + years of age and have at least 3+ years of childcare experience. We work primarily with experienced caregivers or educators who are seeking additional childcare work.
