Happy Father’s Day, New Dad!

June 6, 2019 By Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny

Happy Father's Day

For a new dad, the first Father’s Day is probably the most precious of all. And what could be sweeter than watching a manly man melt into the eyes of his newborn? Daddy’s little girl will certainly have him wrapped around the tiniest finger for years to come so make his first Father’s Day celebration one he won’t forget.

Special Gifts for a Special Guy

Let him snooze! If Dad is burning the midnight oil with baby duty, this is a great day to let him get a few extra Z’s. It probably feels like forever since he’s been able to lounge in bed (Mom, too!) so give him a throwback to a lazy Sunday morning.

Plan some family fun time. It’s Dad’s day, so let him choose. Maybe he’ll want to walk through the park to show off his new family or have lunch at the local hot dog stand. He might want to take a bike ride on a new trail or cheer on the town’s Little League team from the bleachers. Whatever Dad wants to do will be sure to be memorable on his first official Father’s Day.

Storytime will never be sweeter when your two favorite people in the world are cuddled together reading Just Me and My Dad. Capture that moment and pop it into this First Father’s Day frame for an extra special keepsake. And not just any hoodie will do for this Dad. Give him the Dad Hoodie! inside pockets keep baby essentials ready when’s Dad’s on duty without having to carry a diaper bag.

Celebrate Daddy

Your world turned upside down in the best possible way when two became three. This is the start of something big! No matter how you choose to celebrate this first Father’s Day, put Daddy in the spotlight. Shower him with as much love and attention as he holds in his heart for your new bundle of joy, and for the beautiful life ahead as a family. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime memory for your family’s first-time Dad.

Happy Father’s Day to the World’s Greatest Dad!
