Carole is president and founder of Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny™ providing overnight and daytime newborn care and a wide range of postpartum support services. Her latest book, Newborn 101, includes more valuable information about caring for newborns including multiples and preterm babies.
For over a decade Arsenault has guided parents through pregnancy, labor, birth and the newborn period at Boston’s top birthing hospitals including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, St Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Mount Auburn Hospital. As a parent educator, labor and delivery nurse, and lactation consultant she has shared her expertise on sleep, schedules, soothing, calming and infant development with hundreds of parents as they transition into their new roles. Carole continues to support and educate families through Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny and though professional speaking on topics such as creating a safe “green” home for baby and essential newborn secrets from a baby nurse.

Paula J. McEvoy, MD, FAAP, Pediatric Consultant
Dr. McEvoy is thrilled to be part of the Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny Team! Paula grew up in the Boston area and received her B.A. In Psychology from The College of the Holy Cross in 1988. She then completed medical school and her Pediatric Residency Program at The University of Massachusetts Center in 1998. She has worked as a board certified primary care pediatrician affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital since 1998. Over the years, Paula has developed a special interest in child and adolescent mental health issues and has been part of The Massachusetts Chapter of The American Academy of Pediatrics Mental Health Task Force, The Needham Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention and The Needham Suicide Coalition. Paula has had the privilege of speaking at parenting conferences and on NPR about child/adolescent mental health concerns. Paula has four children, Kelly, Sarah, Danny and Mary and has a lot of parenting experience that you can’t learn from a book! She is honored to be part of Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny and to share in their commitment to the care and safety of newborns.
Diane L., BSN, RN, Sleep Consultant
Diane has been educating parents through Prepared Childbirth and Newborn Care Classes for the past 23 years. As a mother of four grown children (and grandmother to 2) she appreciates the responsibility of caring for and nurturing parents and children. In addition to general newborn care, two areas of particular interest to Diane include techniques for calming a fussy baby and healthy sleep strategies for the newborn and infant. When not working, Diane enjoys gardening and spending time with her growing family.
Katie Zereski, Lactation Program Director/Founder Yummy for Mommy
Katie is thrilled to be part of the Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny Team! Katie launched Yummy from Mommy six years ago, serving hundreds of moms and families throughout the Greater Boston area. Like many new moms, Katie herself struggled with breastfeeding. Through perseverance and by having the proper supports in place she was able to successfully breastfeed her children. Katie is now passionate about helping new moms to overcome the challenges that can occur during those early weeks. New moms love the comfort and convenience an in home lactation visit provides. Katie also supports the family’s right to choose their feeding decisions and believes the right feeding method is what works best for mom and baby.
Danica C., Graphic & Web Design Consultant
Danica is the creative force behind Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny. She holds a MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University and a Dual BS in Marketing and Electronic Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Danica has experience working in many industries, but as a mother of two she really enjoys assisting Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny with graphic and web design projects. Danica has been working in the Boston area for over 14 years and currently lives near Boston with her husband and two children.
Diana H., Operations Manager
Diana oversees all aspects of day to day operations for Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny while also supporting the leadership team on all special projects and managing the Newborn Care Specialist team. Diana’s main objective is to be constant source of support for families as they develop relationships and schedules with the Newborn Care Specialists that meet their unique family needs. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Master Degree in Education from Simmons College. Diana lives south of Boston with her husband and three young children.
Erica R., Human Resources and Education Team Leader
Erica has been caring for infants and children for the past 20 years and is now the mom of two little boys. She is excited to join Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny as Human Resources and Education Team Leader. In this role she will manage the human resource aspect of the business as well as help support the education initiative. Erica holds a BA in marketing, advertising, and public relations from Emerson College and has spent the past 10 years working in clinical research in administrative support roles. Erica lives with her husband and children north of Boston.
