“Baby soft skin,” it’s a saying for a reason. Babies enter the world with the softest skin, not to mention their lovable, new baby smell. So, how do we make sure to keep their skin soft?
I was bathing my baby three times a week as the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends. When I noticed my son had dry patches on his biceps, elbows, and calves I showed our pediatrician at his 4 month appointment. The pediatrician said it was very, very mild eczema and to bathe him every other day and to wipe him down with a warm washcloth the days in between. I was confused and asked, “Won’t washing him more often dry out his skin even more?” The pediatrician explained that eczema is actually allergens irritating the surface of the skin. I had no idea!
“After just four days he had his baby soft skin back!”
So, we went home and followed the pediatrician’s suggestions. The dry patches weren’t going away completely. I tried a few different organic baby lotions, but those didn’t work either. Finally, I heard about Embeba’s product, Don’t Be Rash. It is a diaper balm and skin protectant that uses natural ingredients inspired by an old recipe coming straight from a family member’s garden in Bosnia. The balm includes anti-inflammatory and soothing ingredients such as arnica montana flower, calendula officinalis flower, eucalyptus globulus, and more.
After reading about the carefully tested product, I decided to order a sample size to try out. I fell in love as soon as I took off the cover. For starters, it smells so good! I decided to try it on my son’s arms first. After just four days he had his baby soft skin back! I couldn’t believe it, so immediately I used it on the dry patches on his calves as well. In addition, we use it as a diaper balm after every poopy diaper change.
My son and I were blowing bubbles outside one day and some were popping on his arms as he reached for them. That evening when getting him into his pajamas I noticed a few small bumps on his upper arm that I assumed were from the bubbles removing some of his natural oils. Embeba’s Don’t Be Rash balm came to the rescue and by morning the bumps were gone! Now, daily after bath and when getting my son dressed I feel his skin and roll on the Don’t Be Rash stick on any area that needs a little extra love and care.
I am so grateful to Embeba for giving my son his baby soft skin back. I encourage your family to give it a try too! Check it out on their website or Amazon.com.
