Executive Household Manager

Executive Household Managers (EHM) are responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of all household tasks. Our EHMs are expected to provide the highest level of customer service. They must possess the ability to anticipate needs and stay one step ahead of their employers. Flexibility, organization and strong attention to detail while executing a variety of daily tasks are a must. Most importantly, they must be a strong communicator and problem solver.

Private Chef

A private chef is responsible for the menu preparation, shopping, execution and clean up for meals. A full-time personal chef will make each meal fresh daily, while a part time chef may do this only for one or two meals per day or will prep meals in advance for clients to heat up and eat throughout the week. Additionally, your private chef can follow any special dietary restrictions while still providing balanced and nutritious meals in the comfort of your own home.

Housekeeper

Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness, general upkeep and organization of the home. In addition to general deep cleaning, housekeepers can take on responsibility for laundry, dry cleaning, running errands, keeping inventory of supplies, and other related tasks. A housekeeper can be either full or part time and can live in or live out. Whether you are looking for someone to clean a formal home, or a keep up with a busy family, our housekeepers will meet and exceed your expectations.

A Family Assistant provides childcare while also supporting the family with additional household responsibilities such as running errands, laundry, walking the dog, and other similar tasks. A Household Manager oversees the organization of a home and ensures that it runs smoothly. They may also take on more scheduling, transportation, errands, planning and organization of events or trips and ensuring clear communication throughout the household. Household Managers do not typically provide consistent childcare, however they may fill in on occasion if needed. An Executive Household Manager oversees and supervises other household staff and may be included in approved budgeting and expenditures of family finances in addition to providing support with completing other necessary household tasks.

The team at BBN&N understands that a successful relationship stems from open communication and clear expectations. BBN&N wants both the family and the household staff to be completely satisfied with the working relationship. Although the team works hard to create an ideal match, of course changes can occur. The best way to ensure a lasting relationship is to sign an employment agreement and have your nanny sign it as well. If the relationship does not work out within the first 60 days of a long-term contract, BBN&N will help you find a replacement, free of charge.
