It’s no secret that I am a huge swaddling advocate. Throughout my book I reiterate the benefits of swaddling and topping that list is the fact that most newborns love and are content with the secure feeling of being swaddled. In the hospital (where nurses swaddle for a living!) your baby was very likely happy as a clam. But many parents find that their babies “don’t like” to be swaddled once home. Generally, it’s not that they don’t like it, but that they’re not swaddled in that same secure way. There’s a technique and if you practice with instructions and a great product—you’ll get it! And both you and your baby will be happy with the result.
